Website (overview):

The standard website includes inventory database and shopping cart, and is customized with selected color scheme, custom top logo and/or banner, and your own text and image content on the various pages. An easy to use web form allows you to manage the customization. As long as you have your content ready, the site can be up and running in about 48 hourse or less.

Custom Colors:
|
You select three custom colors of your choice: a dark color for text, lines and other distinct marks, a medium/bright color for buttons, and a soft color for the menu background. You can see a sample website here to show you the areas in which the various colors are used. These are the three colors used on the sample site:

Shopping Cart:

The excellent, functional and proven PayPal shopping cart is completely integreated into the site. Using description and pricing information from the items you enter into the inventory database, it tracks sales and handles checkout through PayPal. Your customers can pay you immediately with PayPal or, if you accept, they can send check or money order by mail.

Pictures:
|
Every detail of your items can be shown in the large 640x480 (landscape) or 480x640 (portrait) imgage file. Medium sized (250x187 or 187x250) pictures are used on the item description page and the small "thumnail" images (96x72 or 72x96) fill out the gallery page.

Hosting:
|
Not only does the rental package include hosting for your website inventory item pictures as outlined above, but you can use the space for your auction hosting requirements as well at no additional charge.

Database:
|
The inventory database supports item number, category, item name, description, price, and image file URLs. A simple data entry form allows you to easily add items to the database. Another form allows removal when items are sold.

Management:

As mentioned above, simple web forms make website customization and management of your inventory items in the database easy to handle. Of course, technical support is available for all issues.

Ad Banner:
|
A standard 468 x 60 pixel advertising banner is provided without charge for your use on other websites to help drive business to your Main Street website.

Your advertising banner will also be placed on at least two high-traffic commercial websites which will give your Main Street presence wide exposure. Main Street will also be promoted in a wide variety of venues drawing even more traffic to you.
